Unveiling of the Fishing Vessels
The grand unveiling ceremony of the multiday fishing vessels of Dhanusha Marine was held on the 24th September 2020 at the company’s latest state-of-the-art Payagala factory premises. The 20m vessel ‘FV Ocean Harvest’ to Mauritius was unveiled by Mr. U. D. Jayalal, Secretary to the Ministry of Ports and Shipping.
Minister of Ports and Shipping, Hon. Rohitha Abeygunawardhana, Secretary to the Ministry of Warehouse Facilities, Container Yards, Port Supply Facilities and Boat and Shipping Industry Development Mr. D. D. Mataraarachchi, Director General Department of Fisheries Mr. Prasanna Ginige and Managing Director of Dhanusha Marine Mr. Sumithra Fernando addressed the occasion.
Genoa Boat Show 2019
Celebrating its 59th year, The Genoa International Boat Show (Salone Nautico) returned to the Italian port city from September 19 – 24, 2019. Considered one of Europe’s premiere yacht shows, the 5-day event saw many exhibitors from across the globe come together to showcase the latest previews in the boating industry, from engines and electronics to accessories and design.
Dhanusha Marine along with the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka participated at AA66, Boating Discovery area. Dhanusha Marine team was able to establish a wide network of partnerships within Italy at the event.
